Andrew and Regina had also assumed that that issue could easily be solved by removing the Eucharist for the scenes of filming... so at this point I don't think that was it.Elizabeth Amy Hajekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01190748325255565418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1029884152123839536.post-86764682734832220412011-06-08T12:10:54.231-05:002011-06-08T12:10:54.231-05:00Elena, one of the reasons churches don't like ...Elena, one of the reasons churches don't like things filmed in their sanctuaries is because the Real Presence of Jesus Christ is present in the tabernacle, in the sanctuary, so I guess it might be disrespectful to be filming and such (and in the case of SOTB, fighting) in the presence of God.Gracienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1029884152123839536.post-59585098184449275702011-06-05T23:59:30.801-05:002011-06-05T23:59:30.801-05:00maybe when you premiere the movie, someone could f...maybe when you premiere the movie, someone could film it like a red carpet/movie premiere kinda thing? interview the cast and crew and some of the fans on their take of the movie's reception?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1029884152123839536.post-90001320257691063312011-06-05T15:00:07.442-05:002011-06-05T15:00:07.442-05:00LOL. However we talked to a TON of churches and apparently Catholic churches don't support having movies shot in their sanctuaries. IT was pretty frustrating. We were VERY lucky to find this chapel, which is part of a Protestant college that was once a Catholic Seminary.Elizabeth Amy Hajekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01190748325255565418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1029884152123839536.post-48818532307652086532011-06-05T14:50:51.307-05:002011-06-05T14:50:51.307-05:00AWESOME!!!!!
