Welcome to "The Shadow of the Bear" Movie Blog! We are an independant young adult-run production based in the U.S. Midwest. The film has been in pre-production since summer 2008, and began production in December 2008. Our hope is to have production wrapped by the end of spring 2010, with some possible pick-ups in the fall. The release date is far from certain, and could be anywhere between Fall 2010 and Fall 2011. Hello! My name is Grace, and I am a big fan of SOTB and the rest of the FT novels! I have one question: Where are you guys filming? And I also wanted to say that the girl who's playing Rose looks and sounds perfect! Rose is my fav character in the novels!
