Day 21 - Dec 28th, '09

Photobucket

Our first scene was the dramatic fight sequence as Bear and Blanche get jumped by some druggies after Prom. Yes, we had to move it indoors because there was no way we could shoot something like this outside in the middle of the winter. However we were able to film in the basement of Northwestern College and it was pretty sweet!

Our second scene was up in the chapel, and was, of course, when Bear shows St. Lawrence's to Blanche and Rose.

Why are Bear's dreads down in the first picture? In the prom scene I think he had them tied back. Does he untie them when Blanche and Bear are leaving the dance hall?

I am so inclined to be evil and say "why don't you wait for the movie to find out?" but that would make it sound like there was a big magical reason or something... nah, he let's them down. There IS a technical reason that you'll find out in the DVD special features or something.

Well, that eases my mind. If it had been "a big magical reason" I would've died of suspence and curiosity.
Hope to see this when it's available! Our Lady bless you.
