When will the next film shoot be?

I've been hearing this question a lot, so I thought I ought to write a blog post explaing just what's up.

We never intended to do a lot of filming in January after the initial shoot. We had to do those four days all together because Jed was in town. Now he has gone back to college, and our Blanche and Rose are in school and in local theatre productions. From now until May we will only be filming about two days a month.

However there has been a slight delay in scheduling the next movie shoot due to a rather serious car accident I had on Monday. God kept me safe from any serious harm, but I did have some spinal cord damage and due to the stress and weakening of my immune system, have also gotten a virus. All this means that I'm weak and tired and have to spend a lot of time at the Chiropractor's office, which limits my ability to get back into scheduling right away.

There were however a LOT of blessings connected with the accident that seem to say very clearly that God still has a purpose for me down here on earth, and I think one of them is pretty obviously SOTB! Don't worry, we'll be back filming soon!

Dear Elena,

I'm so glad you're ok after the car accident! :) Listen, I thought the fans might be interested in an event going on January 24 and 25; the US. Catholic bishops are calling for pro-life postcards to be sent to the US. Senate by American Catholics to oppose the Freedom of Choice Act and Prevention First Act, but you don't necessarily have to be Catholic to do this; you just have to be pro-life! You can find the information, as well as some printable pro-life postcards, complete with the Senate address, at http://www.usccb.org/prolife/issues/FOCA/postcard.shtml Good luck with your Community College Classes! :)

I'm glad you are okay! I am so excited to see the new movie! I didn't hear about it until today as I read Regina Doman's site. Right now I am reading The Shadow of the Bear. It is really good and I'm sure the movie will be really good also!

Hi Elena and all actors!
It looks like you're all doing a wonderful job! I love the pictures from the Fish and Rose meeting scene! I even made a signature for the Fairy Tale Forum with one of the pictures! I can't wait to see the movie and more news and pictures. God bless you and your work! :-)
